This is a Weather Information Service provided by www.ogimet.com. It uses free available data in the net, mainly from NOAA, and Open Software to proccess it. The goal of this site is to provide current weather conditions data in a fast and professional way. This is a free service in a narrow bandwidth server you can see here , so we ask you not to abuse.

CONTENT INDEX
- Queries about meteorological station indexes around the world.
It uses both WMO and ICAO station indexes, and permits efficient search based on site partial name string, country etc ...
- Queries about meteorological reports:
- METEOSAT / reports composition:
- Weather map forecasts from GFS model. From basic grib data, selected parameters are plotted giving a world wide cover of weather maps
- Graphic information
- Synop based information over geographic areas It permits you to see decoded
information over predetermined geographic zones. The information showed came from SYNOP and SYNOP SHIP reports
- Weather synop navigation. This page allows you to select an starting point and
date. From it, you can go around the world and time getting the decoded information from SYNOP and SYNOP SHIP reports over geographic aeras. You can see station data when passing the mouse over the station icon. When clicking, you will get the latest
30 days daily weather summary table.
- GSOD weather navigation. This is similar to based on synop data one, but this is based on GSOD data.
- Metar based information over geographic areas It shows you decoded information from
metar reports over predetermined zones.
- Weather metar navigation. In the same way than in synop report case, it let you
travel over world getting the selected parameter from metar reports plotted in a map. You also can vary the time backward and forward at 30 minutes steps. But sorry, we cannot guess the data in the future
- Database state. You can see how many reports are stored in our MySQL database
